Philanthropies we support

Oakview Community Services

"The National Charity League is a unique organization in that their fundamental characteristics guarantee the longevity of their purpose. The membership of this organization is made up of mothers and daughters working together towards the same goal. This characteristic affords the young generations an opportunity to exercise a sense of commitment and action and ensures new generations of philanthropic women within our communities. The natural mentoring dynamic that occurs among members benefits all of the people involved. I have always been impressed by the caliber of the women involved with NCL; I have had the privilege to work along with women from this organization that I believe embody the definition of womanhood in its broadest and most inclusive meaning.  Another characteristic sets NCL apart from other service organizations. NCL supports and celebrates excellence and achievement through scholarships to deserving young women. There is no better manner, I believe, to secure a bright future than to foster the promise of young people. NCL makes an investment every year on young women who will undoubtedly touch the lives of many people and in this way, this initial investment will pay out dividends for generations to come. For these reasons, NCL is an organization that I will always be happy to support and hold in high esteem." -- Mr. Enrique Castro, Volunteer Coordinator

" Just wanted to personally thank you and your girls for helping on Saturday at South Coast Plaza -- and for getting the word out to all the NCL girls.  I really appreciated your generous and positive attitude that day, even when things were getting a little crazy!  All the girls were such a help to us those two days--we HONESTLY couldn't have made it without all of you.   You should be very proud of the way your girls and their moms (!) honored their commitment and worked so hard at whatever we gave them to do.  I just can't thank you enough".
